My husband, John, and I have been married since 1972. We have been greatly blessed with three amazing kids, their spouses and six grandsons. Words can't describe the joy each of them bring to our lives.
My faith has been shaped by life itself; marrying a man with a strong faith, having children, having friends and family who love the Lord, working with Student Ministry for 30 years, having many people live with us in our home, really great times and very difficult times. God has always been with me through thick and thin and I praise Him for all these seasons of my life.
My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, saith the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." No matter what, Christ has empowered me with hope in the past and he also gives me hope for the future. I'm so blessed to know Him as my personal Savior. I can't imagine life without Him.
I started working at The Hills in June of 2011. I taught preschool at the Southlake campus and later heard about the position in the church office opening up. I love being in a workplace filled with love, peace, joy and laughter. Words can't describe how blessed I am!
My hope for The Hills future is that the community will know us by our love and lost souls will pour through our doors wanting to know all about Christ and His unconditional love.
