We've taken the stress out of leading a community group with discussion questions that will help you be the best guide you can be. Get started with a recent series by Rick Atchley.
New lessons are added each week, so your group can simply watch or read the content for the series of your choice. The discussion questions will be posted on this page and new series are usually available for you and your group to view online at thehills.org.
WHEN GOD SHOWS UP
There are moments when we meet God in a new way. After these moments, we trade a general theory of God for a specific memory of Him. We exchange a concept for an encounter. In the Old Testament, God shows up to young and old, to men and women. Let's look at these encounters and ask Him to continuing showing up in our lives.
Happiness is a chance; joy is a choice. The book of Philippians is full of wisdom regarding how we can learn to rejoice in the Lord regardless of our circumstances. Life is full of potential joy killers, but faith is full of joy fillers. And we get to choose!
Like It or Not

This four week series is designed to help you get to know each other better by looking at Paul’s story of redemption from Galatians 1.
The Depths of Grace
Grace is not just how we start following Jesus; it is how we keep following Jesus. Disciples are always growing in grace, always pursuing a greater experience of God's power and goodness. This series will declare that grace is amazing because it is so deep!
The book of Ephesians is full of wisdom about the Holy Spirit’s work, beginning with the Holy Spirit’s role in salvation. Near the end of this same letter, Christians are commanded to “be filled” with the Spirit. But what does it mean for Christians?
Culture says “whatever” as a way of meaning nothing matters, but Christians say “whatever” because everything matters. Disciples of Jesus do not divide life into sacred and secular. Following Jesus is a 24/7 commitment, and this series explores what that looks like.
Everyone recognizes the look of Christmas. What everyone needs to recognize is that Christmas should change how we look at everything. This series will explore some of life’s greatest themes through the lens of the birth of Jesus.
