Who is the Holy Spirit? by Sinclair Ferguson

Although the Holy Spirit is sometimes the forgotten Person of the Trinity, His presence and work is found throughout redemptive history.

Dr. Sinclair Ferguson traces the work of the third person of the Trinity through Scripture – from creation to the work of Christ to His dwelling in our hearts today.

Along the way, he sheds light on the vital role the Holy Spirit serves. Dr. Ferguson’s goal is to help us know the Holy Spirit as a person, in addition to knowing of His power and work within us.

Pure Desire Ministries

Yes

Pure Desire Ministries began over 20 years ago as Dr. Ted Roberts recognized the pervasiveness of sexual struggle in the church. The pat answers of the past only gave men and women a message of “try harder” which kept them isolated in their sin and shame. He and a professional staff, developed a course that is Biblically sound, clinically based, and highly successful at creating lasting change.

The work begins with the award-winning Conquer Series. This 10 week course serves as an on-ramp for people in the church to understand the true nature of sexual addiction, and to seek healing in a grace-filled, redemptive way.

The program continues with The Seven Pillars of Freedom, a 29 lesson program designed to more fully explore the nature of addiction, the way God intends His people to fight against the powers that want to defeat us and what that freedom will look like.

This program does require a serious application of effort, a willingness to be vulnerable and open with your fellow classmates and a measure of dedication to allow the Holy Spirit turn you into the warrior that God intended.

Workbook materials can be purchased from www.puredesire.org ($50)

We help resolve conflict through free and confidential equipping, coaching, and mediation. We can help, even when the other party is not yet ready to resolve the conflict, by coaching you on how to deal with a difficult relationship or conflict.

We also work with individuals or groups who need a facilitator to help them process their relationships and conflict. Our goal is to be the support your need when relationships are stuck in recurring conflict. The team of trained conflict coaches and mediators are rooted in Christian principles and serve all Hills campuses.
