The Nearly Wed Seminar / Twogether in Texas helps couples prepare for their years together. It helps couples discover each other and identify strengths.
The State of Texas offers an incentive for engaged couples to take marriage preparation classes. Couples who complete a class will save $60 on their marriage license and the 72 hour waiting period is waived. The classes must be at least eight hours long and focus on helping couples develop communication, conflict resolution skills and give other tools for a strong relationship.
The Nearly Wed Seminar is the first five hours required for completion of the Twogether in Texas program. The remaining requirements are comprised of an online couples assessment and meeting with our state qualified facilitator for three hours. You will receive complete details on the assessment upon registration and at the first Nearly Wed class.
You will receive a certificate at the completion of all 8 hours. This certificate is required to receive the discount.
Registration is required.
